Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden

Located in Rockford this Botanical garden is arranged in themed sections in its unique natural environment. This organization is committed to enriching visitors through education and enjoyment of its beautiful flora.

Luthy Botanical Garden

The Luthy Botanical Garden is part of the Peoria Park District and features a tropical conservatory, specialty gardens including wildlife and woodland garden, collections of herbs, viburnums, dwarf conifers, and a children’s garden.

Daily 8:30 am- dusk Admission is free (except during Special Events). Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Quad City Botanical Center

Located in Rock Island next to the Mississippi River, the Quad City Botanical Center offers beautiful gardens during all seasons. It offers a 6,444 square foot tropical Sun Garden conservatory with exotic collection of plants, the outdoor Scott County Regional Authority Conifer Garden highlighting rare and unusual varieties, and a medley of perennial gardens.

Open Monday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm & Sundays, 12:00 - 5:00 pm Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Washington Park Botanical Garden

Part of the Springfield Parks District, this facility features greenhouses and a tropical conservatory, a large rose garden, a scent and texture garden, an iris garden, perennial border, a rockery, and an outdoor cactus garden. It contains 9,000 square feet of greenhouse area, plus a conservatory that houses over 150 species of tropical plants.

The conservatory is open to the public year round. Admission is free.
