Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory

This oasis in the heart of Fort Wayne includes a showcase garden with lush seasonal displays, a tropical garden with orchids and palms, and a desert garden. The garden also boasts three indoor gardens with almost 25,000 square feet that showcase 1200 plants (over 500 species) and 72 different types of cacti. Outdoors, are four gardens with a variety of ornamental grasses, rhododendrons, trees, shrubs and perennials.

Operational hours: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday Noon - 4 pm. New Years Day, Labor Day, Christmas Day. Visit website for admission fees.

Garfield Park Conservatory and Sunken Gardens

This Indianapolis recreational park with a tropical conservatory and European-style formal gardens is planted with three seasonal displays each year. It showcases three distinctive floral displays from early spring till late fall, and includes beautiful fountain displays daily with elaborate light and water features for special evening events.

Indianapolis Zoo and Garden

The White River Gardens at the zoo combine gardening ideas and design and plant information into a botanical attraction. A beautiful 3.3-acre landmark botanical attraction combines the best of gardening ideas, plant information and inspirational design.
