Berkshire Botanical Garden

Located in Stockbridge, this garden’s collections emphasises plants that thrive in the Berkshires, and are displayed in an informal, country setting. Large variety of thematic gardens including among many others, pond, rock, herb, rose gardens and rice greenhouse. Display gardens open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, May - October.

Botanic Garden of Smith College


This Botanic Garden offers a collection of thousands of plants on the college campus in Northampton, grown in the Lyman Conservatory and outdoors in various gardens, combining the best of art and science and scattered throughout the campus arboretum. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted and appreciated.

Mount Holyoke College Botanic Garden

This Botanic Garden comprises a greenhouse, gardens, and arboretum in South Hadley, featuring several specialty gardens and collections.

The Polly Hill Arboretum

The Polly Hill is a non-profit horticultural and botanical center on Martha’s Vineyard in West Tisbury. It is home to the world renowned North Tisbury azaleas (species and hybrids of the horticultural important genus Rhododendron), and offers a vast array of carefully landscaped flora that magnificently mark their respective seasons.

The Arboretum is open daily, sunrise to sunset.
Visitor Center Hours: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM daily, from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day.

Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Located in Boylston, this garden with their slogan "always in season", offers distinctive themed gardens including an orangery and much more. Visit their website for operational hours and admission fees.
