The
Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
This
Gardens in Niagara Falls, is open to visitors for a self guided
tour of the plant world as seen in the herb garden, the vegetable
garden, the rock garden or the arboretum, embracing one of
Canada’s finest collections of ornamental trees and
shrubs. It was originally established in 1936 as the School
for Apprentice Gardeners. It remains a unique location for
studying gardening and obtaining the knowledge necessary to
grow and maintain the landscapes of the Park System. Since
1936, horticultural excellence has been the emphasis of The
