This lovely map of London in the sixteenth century was drawn in the 1850s. Please click on the key map below for detailed images. The central portions of the city are magnified at twice that of the outer regions. This is one of the prettiest maps of 16th century London that we have seen, and it is excellent for the monasteries, convents and priories about London that vanished after the 1530s.
